Onboarding Fee Refund Policy

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

⚠️ Please read this policy carefully before paying any onboarding fee. Payment of the onboarding fee constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms below.

What is the Onboarding Fee?

The onboarding fee is a one-time fee charged to new clients of Digital Wealth Partners to cover the administrative, compliance, and setup costs associated with establishing a new client account. This includes KYC/AML verification, account configuration, initial custody setup, and the preparation of customized investment strategy documentation.

Non-Refundable Services

The onboarding fee is generally non-refundable once the onboarding process has commenced. The following services are covered by the onboarding fee and represent costs incurred immediately upon initiation:

  • Identity verification and KYC/AML compliance checks
  • Account creation and configuration in our systems
  • Initial custody wallet setup and security provisioning
  • Preparation of initial investment strategy documents
  • Compliance review and regulatory documentation
  • Dedicated advisor time for onboarding consultation

Eligibility for Refund

A partial or full refund of the onboarding fee may be considered in the following limited circumstances:

  • Application Denial: If your application is denied by DWP during our compliance review before any services have commenced, you may be eligible for a full refund of the onboarding fee.
  • Technical Error: If you were charged the onboarding fee in error (e.g., duplicate charge), you will receive a full refund of the duplicate amount.
  • Service Unavailability: If DWP is unable to offer the services you enrolled for due to regulatory restrictions in your jurisdiction, and you have not received any services, you may be eligible for a full refund.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

The onboarding fee will not be refunded in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after onboarding has commenced
  • Failure to complete the KYC/AML verification process due to client non-cooperation
  • Voluntary withdrawal after services have begun
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Market conditions or investment performance dissatisfaction
  • Failure to meet minimum investment requirements after fee payment
